Right now, my network is largely centered around women’s empowerment, community work, environmental projects, and youth development. This focus has allowed me to connect deeply with women leaders, educators, and change-makers who are passionate about creating impact in their communities. It’s a strong and purposeful network, but it’s mostly gender-focused.
Recently, there’s been a call for men’s empowerment engagements. This presents an opportunity for me to expand my network, include diverse perspectives, and create more holistic programs that address both men and women. Including men in these conversations doesn’t dilute the focus on women, but rather strengthens the ecosystem of empowerment in my community. By engaging men, I can better understand the social dynamics affecting both genders, foster collaboration, and create solutions that are inclusive, impactful, and sustainable.
